OUR LOCATION TweedStart is based at The Roxburghe Hotel's Trout Fishery near Kelso. This superb fishery, in spectacular natural surroundings, is an ideal location for environmental education field trips. The TweedStart Education Centre provides a classroom and fly-tying room, and wheelchair access is available to all buildings and a casting platform.
ANGLING DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Eoin Fairgrieve A.A.P.G.A.I. TweedStart Angling Development Officer, Eoin Fairgrieve A.A.P.G.A.I., is a fully qualified professional angling instructor. He is a member of the Scottish World Speycasting Championship Team. Eoin has a charismatic and infectious teaching style and represents the new face of angling. Eoin is fully committed to the natural management and enhancement of river systems.

Kenny Galt
Kenny is The Tweed Foundation's Trout and Grayling Biologist. Kenny provides instruction on entomology and fish life-cycles for the TweedStart schools days. His knowledge and excellent teaching skills are invaluable.

TweedStart's Chairman William Rodger owns and runs a building business with his brother. William is the Secretary of the St Boswells, Newtown & District Angling Association and a River Tweed Commissioner.
THE TWEEDSTART STEERING GROUP TweedStart is a voluntary, non-profit making organisation and is run by a small Steering Group.
