As part of the Tweed Trout & Grayling Initiative volunteers from the angling associations involved in the Initiative are using photographs to map their association waters. This will allow them to monitor changes in fish habitat over time.
Another aspect of this project is collecting old photographs and, where possible, recreating them. This will allow the angling associations to see if any major changes in fish habitat have already occurred.
If you, or someone you know, have old photographs of any of the rivers/burns within the Tweed catchment then we would be very grateful if we could take a copy. All photographs will be treated with the greatest care and will be returned A.S.A.P.
If you are able to help in this respect please contact us. If you would prefer that we visit you to examine the photographs then this can be arranged.
