Much can be learnt from the past by examining old records. If you have any fishing diaries or historical photographs of the River we would very much like to see these. They can often tell us a lot about how fishing and the physical characteristics of the water course have changed. The Tweed Foundation has been logging contributions from anglers for some years but the longer the period and the greater geographical spread of these, the more we can learn.
